Blog and RSS feed
I greatly enjoy thinking about the craft of writing fiction. In recent years I’ve been doing this more and more, as I dove into story structure, character arcs and outlining methods. Writing down some of those ideas, for example in a blog, seemed a logical step. Still, it took me a long time to figure out the approach I wanted to use: a mix between directly applicable writing advice (without sounding like a know-it-all) and personal experience (without getting too vulnerable). But I found the right balance, and my blog is now a fact!
New blog posts will appear on the front page among the news items, but are also collected on a page of their own. For the time being, blog posts will only be available in Dutch, to make it easier for me to publish new content regularly. If there is enough interest, I will translate them into English later. The first post, about how not all writing advice works for every writer, is already available, a second is in the making.
It would of course be useful if you could get notified of new blog posts. For that, you can keep an eye on my Facebook or Twitter, but for those who like RSS feeds I’ve added that option to the site as well. There are currently feeds for all news posts and for just blog posts. Your feed reader should be able to find them automatically.
