Lore-ley LARP
‘Stichting Lore-ley’ organised various LARP events between 2010 and 2013. LARP stands for Live Action Role Play, a game in which participants take on the role of a fictional character and experience a story during (usually) a weekend. You could see it as a sort of improvisational theatre without an audience. With Lore-ley we tried new ideas in both form and content of traditional LARPs. Our starting point was always a compelling story.
The events by Stichting Lore-ley were:
MP3-Experiment - A humorous walk through Utrecht in which two teams experienced two different sides of a story.
Riven - A three month long combination of playing online and live, in an alternate version of our world.
Symbols Epilogue - A short return to the world of a long-running fantasy LARP series.
Failsafe - Our zombie event, in which a group of people desperately tried to hold their ground against growing numbers of undead for 27 hours straight.
BlackHackZ - A cross between LARP, a game of finding infiltrators, and a hacking simulation.
